We’ve all experienced the “kareo” or “Kareo” marketing (pronounced “Kare-ro”) that you’ve seen in movies and commercials.

The point of kareo marketing is to get a product to the right people at the right time. Youre selling a product to people who need it.

Kareo marketing is in the advertising world. To succeed in this field you need to sell into the right “niche” and you need to get the right people to see it. In fact, the marketing departments of big companies are always looking for “high interest” niches (where the company can expect a lot of repeat business) so they can maximize the time and money spent in their target audience.

This is one of the reasons I love marketing. It is so easy to get lost in the marketing terminology and the marketing jargon. Ive been doing this a lot longer than I should and I have seen plenty of marketing terms that are just not very useful. For example, the term “viral” is used so much that it has made itself a part of the marketing lexicon. But I have never seen a single tweet about a company using a viral marketing tactic.

Because marketing is such a broad term, there is no one-size-fits-all strategy. For example, I see that an online retailer is using a viral marketing tactic. That is because they are targeting a particular demographic that knows little about the company and are interested in getting their information out to this demographic. The only way for us to really know what is viral marketing is to read the press releases, see the videos, and hear the descriptions and testimonials.

I’m not sure I want to tell anyone how to market. However, my suggestion would be to get your videos, press releases, and testimonials to your target demographic as part of your campaign. If they like what you have to say, they may just buy your product or service. If not, they will probably get on your bad side or at least do some research and see what you are selling before buying.

There is a place for marketing. However, you can’t make the world better. Sure, you can spread the word about your product, your business, or whatever else you like, but you could be losing money doing that. It is much more effective to find out what people really want, and then work with them to meet that need.
