How much do you earn in a typical year as a sales and marketing professional? It’s not the highest, but it’s close enough.

As a sales and marketing professional you’re not necessarily paid the salary you make today. While there are different titles one that you get paid the same, sales and marketing is actually a very broad title. It includes marketing, public relations, sales, production, marketing, and sales management. The title “sales and marketing” just means that you’re the one dealing with the people in sales and marketing.

As a sales and marketing professional you just deal with the people in sales and marketing. When a company hires you, it is not uncommon for them to say, “You will work for the company, not on its behalf.” They do this because they care about their own success and not just the success of the company.

In the US, sales and marketing salaries range from $41,000 to $64,000, with the average salary being $52,000 per year.

It’s difficult to compare the sales and marketing salary in different countries because each country has its own set of practices and standards. In the US Sales and Marketing salaries in the top quartile range from 39,000 to 44,000, and the bottom quartile from 44,000 to 58,000.
